The teaching "Jesus is Michael" soon to go?
What brought that question to your mind all of a sudden?
could the teaching that jesus is michael the archangel, be soon to be discarded?
first of all, watchtower is big on image and this is one of those teachings that paint the jw religion as being rather kooky and heretical.
secondly, this teaching is not an original watchtower teaching but one they inherited from their second adventist ancestry.

If I'm understanding your comment correctly I'd say you need to relax....I'm guessing you're not as unique or as recognizable as you may think you are.

JW's love the way it makes them fell more legitimate, when they hear of someone famous "coming into the truth".
When I got baptized at the International Assembly in Vancouver Canada in 1974 when I was 17, there was a rumor flying around that Glen was there and was going to be baptized. People had their songbooks in hand and were looking for him to autograph them. They had to give a special talk about the evils of "idolatry".

Most of the tweets and posts made by JW's on social media (especially after an assembly) can be classified as "Virtue Signaling"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtue_signalling
They all make the same superficial and Cliche' public expressions, in order to appear virtuous in the eyes of their peers.
#BestAssemblyEver...# BestLIfeEver.... translate to "Look at how theocratic I am everyone !".
They probably don't even remember what was said at the assembly nor do they think it was any better than the last one. They are more interested in how they appear to the others in the group and how virtuous they get to feel when they make these proclamations.
so, so much has happened in my life over the years and continues to happen, but i won't go into the details as it would take a long time.. i don't really know why, but i returned to "the truth" 15 years ago.
in 2012 when the tv broadcasting station launched, i started to develop doubts.
the australian royal commission and other scandals made me angrier, and i now don't believe most of the core teachings.. the only reason i show up at 5 or 6 meetings each month is to keep in contact with my parents and a few other family members.. but it's killing me, literally.
I found out that living with your foot in both worlds, can literally tear you up. For me, going to the meetings was like going to a funeral 3 times a week. Constantly hearing about the imaginary "end of the system" and the "wicked world", was having a detrimental effect on me and making it difficult to navigate myself through the real world.
A week after I quit going altogether, the unexplained panic and anxiety attacks I had been having for the past few years, suddenly stopped. The only reason I completely stopped going to meeting was because my body finally said ENOUGH ! and forced me to stop.
If I'd have realized what was causing the suffering, I would have stopped years sooner. When I did finally stop going, guess what? They went on without me...no one cared. After 25 years of attending that Hall and raising our kids there and having our whole social life revolve around JW's, it took 3 years before anyone came looking for me and that was because it was the Circuit Overseers visit and he made them do it.
I hope you listen to your inner voice and take steps toward getting yourself away from their negative and destructive message, before you do something rash. If you're like me, you'll be shocked at how quickly you'll be well again.
for the past six months the coordinator's wife has definitely been avoiding me, turning her back or walking away when i walk in her direction, giving me a stare at other times.
if i try to make casual conversation with her, she literally walks away or just looks through me until someone else comes to talk to her.. i can only think of one reason, which is that she may have seen me give a car ride to a disfellowshipped person months ago.
i mean, it would be totally random if she happened to spot me on this one short journey, but it's possible.
"PARANOID why the coordinators wife is soft shunning me"
It's natural for us to want to be liked by people but in this case I suppose I'd ask myself why it was so important to me that I have the approval of this one person. I've done noting wrong to her and I've gone out of my way to be a friend, am I being a bit Narcissistic in thinking that her behavior is about me ? Am I being overly concerned about what she thinks of me? Do I miss having this person in my life or is my concern mostly out of an exaggerated need for the approval of others?
I would focus my thoughts on the majority of others who seem to like me rather than obsess on the one who doesn't seem to at the moment.
these are 2015 figures.
overall christians 2.3 billion.
roman catholics 1.2 billion.
It works both ways for them. If there is an increase, they say that Jehovah is speeding up the work and a great in-gathering is taking place.
If there is a decrease, they say that it was prophesied that the love of the greater number will cool off in time of the end and the road to life is narrow and cramped.
those are the words of my 2nd generation born in jw mother.
my grandfather died refusing blood.
i've since come to the realization that many jws have no other opportunities or options when it comes to leaving the cult.
John 6:68 Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
JW's typically misquote this scripture and say WHERE shall we go, rather than to WHOM shall we go.
They replace God and Jesus with the Governing Body and the JW Organization and equate leaving it, with leaving God himself.

My brother has posted those same kind of photos. Hashtagging every possible word play not realizing that hashtags are for searching purposes, not to convey an additional thought or message to his posts. #We'reLivingIn MomentousTimesBrothers! etc
I casually asked him how long ago the big International Convention was.
He said it was back in July of 2014
I said..."Gosh....has it been 3 years already...time really flies. It seems like only yesterday they were putting on all those entertainment programs for the delegates and now yet another summer convention has come and gone since then (sigh).
He got my point.
according to today's wt, jws are now encouraged to start bible studys with worldy kids even if their parents dont want to join in.
the wt suggests that the study should take place with the parent present or with another mature jw present.. the wt suggests that studying with the kid may make the parent eventually want a study too.. ...
in what situation would any worldly parent allow some stranger from a werid cult to come jnto their house and convert their children?
This posts reminds me of an older sister in our Hall who studied with a young boy. The parents finally allowed him to go to a meeting with her one Sunday. During the meeting, someone threw a rock through the window above his seat and the falling glass cut his ear. The poor older sister had to take the kid home and explain what happened.
The kid never came to another meeting and the study ended but I'm sure there are plenty of parents out there who think a kid should have some kind of religion in their life but don't know how to go about it themselves. If someone came to their door offering them a free bible study for their kid, they'd jump at the chance to get him or her off their hands for a few hours. Especially an overwhelmed single parent.
